RecommendedEventhough my visits here are only for emergencies I am grateful for their 24 hr. Veterinarian Hospital ...it's hard knowing your furry or feathery baby is in pain and needs medical attention in the middle of the night or am...the staff is great and helpful. They act fast and explain everything and listen to your questions and concerns. I also love the follow up calls to check on my baby (pet). Wonderful service - facilities were beautiful and clean, front staff was friendly and attentive, and Dr. Bilderback was spectacular. She didn't rush us and gave me so much wonderful input, and even spoke to two of her colleagues about my dogs' case. I would recommend them in a heart beat!
I would love to give this place 5 stars but it is a little expensive. The staff is wonderful and so is the facility.
Dr. Sapienza has been treating my cat's eye for several months. Shaina's left eye looked like a cherry marble with blisters and he treated her with the correct medicines. Her eye is just about normal now; something I NEVER thought would happen. I am most impressed with the way LI Veterinary Care treats my cat each time they have to do tests in her eyes prior to her exam. My vet, Dr. Bill Seader at Sunrise Animal Hospital said it was time to see an animal ophthalmologist. Dr. Sapienza is the reason why my cat didn't lose her ... read more

My grand-dog had to have 2 knee surgeries....tore ligaments on both knees . EVERYONE at LIVS was fantastic !! I highly recommend them
Long Island Vet Services saved my dog's life twice! Once with a liver shunt and another with a heart condition. Their bedside manor was fantastic and follow-ups were very thorough. A heart felt thank you to all their staff!
