Dr. Selmer is a miracle doctor! My French Bulldog suffered from terrible skin rashes that would cover her entire underbody for 3 years. She was constantly at the Vet getting antibiotics for skin infections as well as trying every type of antihistamine and nothing worked. Dr Kim is a dog Opthamologist genius. She has saved two of my Japanese Chins eyes, one recently. Rei-Rei got disinfectant in her eye and was in extreme pain. Dr. Kim gave the dog three meds and in a few days her eye went from tight- shut to brightly open. Dr Kim is intelligent, talented, intuitive and empathetic. I adore her. Faith Popcorn

Dr.Kim and the entire staff that I have met or spoken to have been absolutely amazing treating my English bulldogs corneal ulcers. Dr. Kim explains everything so thoroughly and never pushes anything, she gives options and explains each option. She's comforting while my dog is healing. Covid regulations make it more worrisome that I can not go inside with her but this staff makes you feel confident. I am extremely impressed with everyone here.

I brought my cat here who was in critical condition from undiagnosed cancer (other vets couldn't figure it out for weeks). The staff here did an amazing job of diagnosing him and providing detailed updates throughout his stay. Dr. Marino was our surgeon and he removed my cat's tumor. Unfortunately, he did not make it through recovery as the cancer had metastasized to several organs. A few months ago, we saw Dr. Kim to have a growth removed from our dog, Peppa's eye. Dr. Kim was kind and thorough. The staff was wonderful, and Donna followed up with us post- procedure. All in all, a great experience at LIVS!

I recently adopted 2 kittens through Beth stern through her org. One of my kittens needed to be spayed. Her brother was already neutered. I live in brooklyn this vet is of course a bit far. I couldnt be happier with the service I received, and I honestly think I will keep them as my vet anyway. Emily the vet tech remembered taking care of my kitten when she and her siblings were found. I went to LIVS to see an orthopedic surgeon for my 4yo dog who needs CCL surgery. I was treated kindly by everyone from the receptionist on the phone to the Vet Tech who came to my car (COVID restrictions) to pick up my dog from me. Dr. Tumulty , Dr. Loughin and all.the Docs at LIVS that have helped my dog manage his IBD and other orthopedic issues have been great! They are very attentive to the needs of my dog and communcative with me as well! My dog is very anxious goijlng to the vet and the staff has been great in handling his needs to keep him calm. It has been a very experience for me.

Besides the price, this place is excellent. I have to say the workers there really maintain professionalism and have a caring attitude toward the animals. My dog was turned away by his regular vet (north shore) who won't even answer a phone call during this time or see your pet when you show up in need of help. We were trying to avoid the emergency vet because of the price. Our dog was in pain and needed medical attention.
