My family and I are deeply saddened and troubled by the Good Doctor's decision to discharge our beloved and cherished Denver in his time of need. Needless to say we will be taking our business elsewhere but not before making an indelible mark on your fine, fine establishment. "At this time I am advising you to seek further medical assistance elsewhere, as it appears that I am not ... read more
Horrible service, enormous charges. I made an appointment for 3:00 pm with Dr. Birkner for my dog, suffering a severe foot injury. The dog got totally exhausted, not being able to use his injured foot waiting for the doctor, which did not show up. After 45 minutes of waiting, we left. Do not use this place if you love your animal
I had a serious issue with their Billing Department!! I used to admire this facility, but they have gone downhill for sure. After waiting quite a while, which seemed a little off course, especially in an emergency situation, I was offered many avenues of medical investigation. That included a stool test, x-rays, blood tests, and medication. I only allowed only the blood & stool tests. I also requested a pill for anxiety. Of course there was a fee for seeing the Veterinarian too. The cost was alarming but acceptable witho... read more
brought my dog here immediately when we saw he was in distress from bloat..../ a time sensitive procedure. They could give one s#%^t about saving my dog and everything was about money. it took them 1 hours to get a doctor on call. what kind of facility is that???
Worst experience ever. Uncaring doctor. Must have a large contract for service dogs ,and could care less about private pets.
Unethical inhumane veterinarians. They barely examined my dog and recommended thousands of dollars of tests. When I asked what the tests were for, they told me I was not a veterinarian and would not understand. DONT bring your beloved pets here.
Brought my 11 yo dog with heart disease in after he passed out cold. Although they were very interested in doing tests, they didn't react to a dangerously low RBC, didn't have a cardiologist review or summarize the echocardiogram, refused to send imaging (even after I offered to pay), called me in the middle of the night to request permission (&payment) for an unnecessary test. I spoke to 2 vets who are mysteriously not listed on their website. When I checked him out after an overnight stay, there was no one to answer questi... read more
Today our dog has a repeat UTI. Went to this ER. Receptionist came to me in the waiting room said it's going to be a while but I could call VeT Triage and handed me a paper to call for a virtual visit for our dog. I asked would Vet Triage call in medication she said yes. Well I went online and paid for the service then some Dr in Arizona called my phone and NO they won't call in medication. I ended up paying for nothing and yet still had to be seen at this office. The receptionist apologized when I complained I just paid $50... read more
WHATEVER YOU DO AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. Saw the Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. Waddell, for my dog who had been limping for weeks. The doctor did absolutely nothing, pushed a 6k MRI for the next visit. Out of desperation I did call to schedule a follow up appointment and guess what had to wait three weeks. Instead I brought my dog through emergency at VMCLI in West Islip, and within one day they diagnosed my dog with aggressive bone cancer via X-Ray and he had a life saving leg amputation. What kind of Orthopedic surgeon doe... read more
