Get directionsIf you care about your pets and you don't want your time wasted DO NOT GO HERE!! If I could give it zero stars I would. Don't be like me and ignore all the bad reviews, I promise you'll regret it. I brought my dog(a shitzu) in because he was attacked by a pit-bull and it looked like he had a broken jaw. I kept being told it would 'just be a few minutes' to be seen. It took an hour for my dog to be seen, and then 2 hours for me to even speak with the doctor, just for the doctor to tell me that I need to come back another day ... read more

We brought our dog in as our vet instructed due to our Bully swallowing a sock. Our dog had surgery and tiny sock was removed and we were told surgery went well and that our pup would be monitored to make sure any bleeding would not occur. My wife had gone to visit the dog on two out of the four days our pup was there and realized that our pup was having trouble breathing. She has this bad wheezing and it sounds like kennel cough. We were told it has to do with the anesthesia and it would go away. Well after paying over $10,... read more

Thankful that they saved my dog, but they are very cold, no compassion, very difficult to get an answer from. They hit me with a price that was so incredibly high, I am still in shock, but it was life or death, so they had me and took full advantage. They were more worried about getting as much money as they can upfront than tending to the dogs emergency.

I am a physician practicing for over 40 years. The vet I consulted was condescending, and when I pointed it out, she reacted angrily and continued to speak down to me. I have that this vet is very skilled in her specialty, and I respect that, but he/he should realize that part of his/her job is to communicate information, warmth, care, and courtesy.

Would give this place ZERO stars if I could. My cat fell and we went to make sure nothing was broken. They didn't think anything was broken and did some bloodwork before they were gonna give us some pain meds and then 10 minutes later said my cat needed EMERGENCY SURGERY for kidney obstruction and quoted us $9000 for treatment BEFORE surgery alone. One of the vet techs was kind enough to give us an alternative cheaper hospital to go to but the doctor was insistent that by refusing to pay the $9000 we were going against medic... read more
If I could give this place no stars, I would. Horrible customer service, they don't care about your pet(s). I received a referral to have my cat seen by a specialist and they scheduled my cat with the wrong specialist so they call me back 2 days later to reschedule my appointment 3 weeks later! My cat isn't doing so well and not only did the front desk receptionists didn't care, but not even the MANAGER showed compassion. Instead the manager, Lauren said, unfortunately we have to reschedule you for that 3 week appointment or... read more
Horrible place. Horrible service. Happily take tons of money from you but are completely unprofessional and do not care about your pet.
My dog had hip surgery on his left hip on 5.31.23, he had the right one done 2 years ago. Both of these surgeries where done at LIVS. Supposedly they removed all the staples from his most recent surgery at his 2 week post operative appointment from 5.31.23. Today I was petting the area and noticed scabs still on his hip, then I happened to notice that a staple was left in. I can't believe that LIVS was so careless not to remove all of the staples from my dog's hip. I took him back today and they removed the staple. I am not ... read more
I am writing this review and again I am emphasizing if I could give zero stars I would as so many others have said. The minute I walked in the door I got the impression that the staff was only trying to get hold of my credit card. I had taken a kitten I had found for an amputation of a leg that had been injured. My local vet had no issues with anesthetizing the kitten for a biopsy however I was enticed by the idea of a tertiary care center for the bigger surgery. I received a 911 call the morning of the surgery when the kit... read more
