Horrible experience for the price!!! Drove an 1 1/2 to try this theater to watch Wicked. I spent over $90 on tickets for 5 of us $130 on food and drinks. I should have known when we got to our seats and they were torn and my daughters would only recline on the left. We ordered food through the QR code on the chair and got it in parts. The only reason why I'm giving this two stars and not one is because the recliner seat worked. Although it's advertised as a "sleek" dine-in experience, it is anything but that. The upholstery is coming off or already worn down / ripped off of some of the recliner chairs. We saw Gladiator II, ordered at 8:15pm and didn't get our food until 2 hours later. Just saw Wicked at this location tonight. It's clear there is a staffing issue. Between how long it took to get our order taken and the fact that it took even longer for food to get to us it was a deeply unsatisfactory experience. To make matters worse, we are required to pay and tip BEFORE receiving the food. The product we ended up receiving and the slow service were certainly not worth the steep price. We will not be returning.
I've been here only twice, and for a theater chain that's supposed to offer a supposedly luxury experience, it's barely able to compete with the most stripped down amc you can think of. My first experience was when a friend and I went to see Furiosa months ago. Visual was great, but there was a constant HUMMING noise coming from one of the speakers. The seats are falling apart. I can't believe how expensive this place is for furniture they found on the side of the road.
Terrible experience. First, the employees didn't let us go in to watch a rated R movie because we "didn't look old enough" when we stated we were of age, still wasn't good enough for them. I think they expected us to bring our birth certificates to prove to them that we were over 18. I like how they have the discounted Tuesday option but sometimes the seats are dirty. Moreover, when I went to go watch Barbie, the people in front of us were so loud and obnoxious.
My friend and I have been coming to this theater for about 4 years. During Black Friday, Look has a promotion for a $100 infinity card. With this card, we can see one movie a day for a whole calendar year. This used to come in handy as we are big movie fanatics. I noticed that this promotion lingered for months. This kind of "deal" happens when a business needs to bring in as much money as possible in a short amount of time which is always a bad thing. Darius Joshua Devine, a manager here, single-handedly ruined my wife's birthday. Violently made us leave the movie theater in the middle of a movie we paid for, telling us to "Get the f--- out!". We had paid $80 for a meal including 18% gratuity and $36 for our two tickets. (Not to mention the $150 we paid for a babysitter) Then a server came by and tried to get us to pay for a soda and a cheese quesadilla that we hadn't ordered.
