You should get solar panels - but do it with another company.The sales person said that Lumio would pay the first 6 months of payments for veterans and teachers. We have made 6 payments on our loan and still no money from Lumio. We have called multiple times over several months and get the same "be patient" message each time. Today we asked to speak to the supervisor, and were told she was on a call, we said we would wait. C*** company to do business with. It took them almost a whole year to actually get my panels installed when they said the process would take like 4 months. The company promised me a reimbursement of the extra cost I had to pay for the extra time it took them and another whole year has passed and they still have not reimbursed my 3 checks!!! Worst customer service I have ever received everything they told me about solar panels was a lie and there warranty and repair service takes forever still have not gotten my panels fixed or issues resolved. Paying higher electric bill plus good leap over 450 Dollars no savings whatsoever just a rip off

Absolute worst company ever salesman told me I'd have a zero dollar electric bill at most $50 because of service fees from my electric company that is not the case I am paying good leap $200 a month and still paying my electric company $150-260 a month on top of my good leap bill my electric bill never coat that much before hand ever we contacted them they did an audit said everything was fine still nothing was fixed so we went over our proposal and contract my proposal was for 45 solar panels they only installed 26 and my c... read more

Finally got completed installation done after nearly 2 months. Lumio simply vacated. They did finally set up schedule for install of meters, but it took us getting in the middle to get it all finalized. Now, 3 months into this. We have nearly same kwh usage yet no savings. Lumio now states we have to contact a solar buyer to sell the excess power to. Nothing was noted about this from our sales guy. Contacted Lumio with only your system needs 90 days transition period to be fully operational. Ok. No manager to answer question... read more

Terrible service. Signed contract in June 2021. additional panels added in July 2022 still waiting on final inspection. I also had the roof done with them and have leaks twice in 2 years. I also have 3 different account managers since August 2023. If I knew this was going on for 3 years I would not have signed the contract with AKE solar (now Lumio). Will I ever get this project finalized!

Evening. This complaint concerns my house's solar system installation. This company misrepresented the system's financial benefits, which bothered me. Zenith, which later became Deca Solar and is now Lumio, promised me a zero-dollar electricity bill. My registration contract guaranteed a $187 monthly fee for 25 years, exempting me from electricity charges. Go with ANYBODY else if you want solar panels! We had such a horrible experience from never being able to get ahold of anyone, from them helping themselves to our tools without asking when they installed the panels, to them giving us electrical problems elsewhere in our house after they hooked them up. Horrible!!!

We got scammed.Signed a contract last december 2022.Got the solar panels installed in January 2023 but ************** isn't hooked up.Waiting for **************** inspection until April.After city inspection passed, no one ever showed up again to finalize the installation and getting the system online.Financing started in June without any system running whatsoever.Just some *************** dangling on the side of the house with empty panel box just mounting on the wall.Has been trying to contact Lumio and their manager, ****... read more
