Lumio is full of criminal practices designed to deceive you for their profit. They kept calling my home with three different managers, Each one agreed that we would negotiate a price but they refused to lower the price of a 12K system. I hate to give this company one star but it's necessary for a review. They have total disregard for my no solicitation sign that's posted by my front door. I explained to the salesperson for the 15th time that we are not interested in solar panels being installed on our home. and we're tired of the continuous knocks on the door from this company. BEWARE! What a disappointment Lumio is. I have been lied to at nearly every turn by this company. I suspect this company does not treat their employees well based on the interactions Ive had.Lumio says theyll take care of everything, you shouldnt need to worry about engaging with the electric company, yet I had to step in multiple times because Lumio let things sit. Our story with the company starts with their salesman who keep knocking our doors use the service. It was annoying at that moment. We agreed to use the service and signed the agreement in September 2022 and the solar panel and reroofing were done in November 2022. So far, it was just ok. As we thought the system would run before we started paying the monthly payment in January 2023. In fact, nothing happened. After the panel being installed, nobody notify us what's the next step. I absolutely regret this. As excited and motivated I was to get solar the customer service and the overall install process was a nightmare. The sales person ghosted ** and the install company in ******* damaged our attic door and one of their counterparts mentioned to ** that the system was improperly installed and they had to redo certain items. Solicited two night in a row at our home in the evening. We have no solicitation in our neighborhood but persisted.Misrepresented himself saying that we received a letter about the new meter installed at our house (we hadnt!) and they wanted to talk with me about net metering. Never outright said solar. They said my neighbors were working with them. Definitely trying to make this sound like everyone was working with them. Lumio has done serious damage to my roof and have sent contractors to fix my roof that were not worth a ***** if you ask me refused to show me permits on work being done in my house that needed to be permitted to make this story short the contractors stopped work on my house due to no pay I alerted ********************** they did nothing for 5-6months I called almost every day explaining the past contractors never finished the work and left a hole in my roof so when it rains its gonna do serious damage well I was ignored unt... read more

Lumio came to my neighborhood to talk to me about adding solar to my house. I scheduled an appointment and talked with one of their reps at length. They made it sound like they are working with ************ Light, like they are collaborating with them. On the welcome call they made it clear that they are not affiliated with SCL and asked me to acknowledge this. Just had a Lumio employee come to my door with a trainee, telling me they were sent to my home by my county. Then went on to say that a bunch of my neighbors called them to check their power use as well. This is a FALSE REPRESENTATION, saying my county sent them to my home. Despicable sales tactics, I hope they dont con one of my elderly neighbors!
