A Lumio employee knocked on my door today claiming that they were in the neighborhood notifying everyone that our power meters were swapped out by TEP, and heavily implied they were doing this on TEP's behalf because "some of the neighbors complained and were extremely upset with TEP". I repeatedly asked them to produce any evidence they were working on behalf of TEP, and they eventually left. When I signed up back in October of 2022 for solar panels I also financed a new A/C system, I got the solar panels installed in November of 2022 and turned on in December of 2022 and paying for the system since December 2022 which we are now in March of 2023 and still no A/C system, so I have been paying for something that I still dont have, I have reached out multiple times to my sales guy and the A/C guy that the solar company hired but I keep getting the runaround like when my A/C guy told me that the A/C unit was in back... read more
We bought two systems from LUMIO. Hopefully (fingers crossed) enough to cover our electric **** Our experience so far has been a disappointment at best. We were initially shopping for new windows. LUMIO salesman ** promised he could set us up with all the solar we needed AND new windows. He ghosted us after the sale. Not only are they liars, but the lying starts at management and as soon as you walk in the door. They promise so much and never deliver. It's been over a YEAR and our solar system has not been set up and running. It has failed inspections numerous times. We've been lied to every step of the way. I remember when we first were talking to our account manager that the turn around time for issues was 72 hours. Every few months it changed to one week and lately they have said it can take up to five weeks to resolve issues. just Friday evening I had a scheduler come knock on my door , what he told me oh fpl had sent him out to schedule a removal of my electric box . my reply that's so strange that fpl normally notify us via mail . If I could leave zero stars, I would. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I have been waiting for this solar installation for 8 months now and the company seems to be more lost every time I talk to them. The customer service is horrendous. Every time I call with questions, the project manager tells me she will circle back with me and she never does unless Im persistent about calling. We signed a contract in August 2022. As I write this its March 15th 2023. We still do not have a working solar system, but their finance company has made sure to charge us for it. Now making payments for both electricity and a non existent solar system. Did I mention its been 8 months. I would do business with them again if you paid me.
