Appointment for software update. Supposed to take less than 1 hour. They kept me there for 3+ hours. Tried to sell me tires within 5 minutes of arrival at 50% higher cost than next highest quote. Performed maintenance inspection without my consent, but then failed to give me results of inspection or receipt for warranty software update. Tech broke battery cover and failed to disclose. Only saving grace was service advisor ordered an new battery cover and mailed to house quickly.

I feel like they try to find something just to charge us more. They over charge for everything.

I've happily driven a MBZ for almost forty years and had 100% of the service work done at a MBZ dealer, including the last annual service done in April of 2023 at MBZ Plano (Texas). At that time I replaced all 4 tires at the dealership as they had a tire special on Michelins which included run flat tires (the existing tires were not) at a somewhat reduced price. We use run flat tires when the original manufacturer spec called for it and used them from the factory. Although its a 2010 C300 we have had it serviced here regularly. Recent service had motor mounts replaced. They do excellent work. The only issue is they changed their loaner car fleet to EVs which means longer refueling which meant we had to come back the following day as there were no loaners fueled and ready. This is a huge hassle as we scheduled 2 weeks prior and my time is valuable.

The process between scheduling appointment and picking up car was disappointing. My appointment was scheduled at least 10 days in advance. I dropped my car off Monday August 14th 7:30am received a text Tuesday and Wednesday the 15, 16th shop was behind. Another text on Friday the 18th asking me to approve a $3700 invoice.
