    Don't buy! Terrible! Paper feed broke 3 months after buying, brother is impossible to get in touch with, and Amazon doesn't seem to care either. Stay away from this one!

    One year Ink Total misleading ad , ink ran out in just 3 months with minimal use , 250 pages mostly black and all ink is gone. No product support . Never again. The ink is water based and requires color ink to print in black , also the printer runs its own cleaning cycle using ink without notification, thus running out of ink AMAZON makes statements about ink that are not supported by manufacturers I am canceling my prime account and buying from other sources from now on .

    Expensive Paperweight Every time I try to print on this thing it's offline. Every time. EVERY time. Is it out of range of your latptop? No, I'm literally sitting less than a meter from the printer with my laptop, still registers as offline. Did you turn it off and back on? Did you make sure the firmware is updated? yes and yes.     Brother Printer MFC-J805DW Will not print # 10 envelops Keeps saying paper mismatch Just spits out the envelope. No matter how I set the envelopes. Not user friendly at all. DO NOT BUY

    Refurbished, not new This is not advertised as a refurbished unit and the attached picture clearly shows previous use of ink. I also made the mistake of not screening the most current Amazon reviews. It is being sold as if it were new, and although it carried the standard warranty, I do not have the time to deal with a printer that will fail again after a short while.     Constant problem with Jam c rear( and nothing is jammed) This product was very effective with not replacing ink every other print out but what it is lacking is it always says (after 6 months of use) that the jam c rear and remove paper tray. This is happening constantly now after a year of ownership. It's a real nuisance and not fixed by removing tray.

    Do not buy This printer has caused so much frustration. It FAILS to print more than it successfully prints documents and I spend much of my valuable study time trying to troubleshoot printing issues. When it does successfully print, it is super slow and of relatively poor quality. Spend a little more and get a printer that can actually perform its basic function....PRINTING!

    Poor value, poor print quality, overall just an overpriced piece of junk My husband did tons and tons of research before purchasing this printer for our home use. Out of the box, it looks very cheaply made. The first time we printed color, I knew he had made a big mistake picking this printer.     Only 4 months old and already TOO MANY ISSUES I've always used Brother printers and have never had an issue. Have kept each one for years. I'm pretty computer/printer savvy and had never met a technical issue I couldn't work out. Purchased this printer in May. It gets used about 2 times/day. It is ALWAYS offline and requires a full round of power off/on/internet re-connection each and EVERY time we want to print something.
