    Can't Print Black & White unless color cartridges are filled. I'm trying to print a shipping label in black & white while the black ink cartridge is completely full. I'm unable to print because I do not have enough yellow ink. I have printed maybe 10 pages and the color cartridges are significantly depleted. This is not a good user experience.

    Jams on every job This printer is barely over a month old and now jams on every job. It’s only been used a few times. Useless.

    Paper jam error after first page and NO jam...every time This printer really sucks. I get a paper jam error every time i use if after the first page, and there is no jam. i go thru the instructions to open up the back and remove the tray and no jam, an it does NOT clear itself. even after deleting the print que and starting over. very frustrating.

    Arrived Damaged The printer seems to be okay but it arrived damaged. The top won't stay down and I have to tape it shut in order to get it to print. I tried to request a replacement, but it seems like all I can do is a refund, and it'll be a 40% restocking fee AND I have to pay for shipping. Even though it arrived damaged out of the box! So, in light of that, I guess I'll keep it and use tape. Very disappointed.

    Non-working computer. Terrible customer service. Costs $50 to return to seller. Awful experience. Tried to set up printer but printer wouldn't work. Tried on line text-based customer service which was very limited and could only suggest I call phone help line. Called phone customer service. Held for a very long wait time for help. Customer service person couldn't help address problem with printer and repeatedly put me on lengthy holds. It cost me $50 to send the computer back to Brother who only wanted to repair/replace this... read more

    Difficult wifi setup, won't print ion B&W all if any color if missing As someone who mainly prints things in black and white and infrequently, the fact that all of a sudden my Yellow ink is out and I can't print anything, even in black and white only, is a pain. For people who print infrequently, keeping this printer ready to use when you need it is a pain — and expensive. Also, the software setup was pretty difficult, or at least inconsistent.     Horrible Printer! Will only last a few months This printer broke down after a few months of use. I contacted Brother support who sent me a replacement device, which ALSO broken down after 2 months! Definitely wont purchase another Brother product again. Avoid this one if you are seeking a reliable printer.

    They do not honor warranties So I was so happy with my printer, but then it said it had a paper jam. I took out paper and it continued to say same thing. I went online and followed all steps. I finally called customer support. Horrible service!!!! I spent over an hour going through their "trouble shooting", got disconnected.     stopped working after a couple years Printer was great at first. Stopped working after 2 1/2 years - minimally used in a home environment.
