    Scan Feature Disappears with Windows 10 It worked ok for a while, although it tended to lose connection to my laptop often and I had to reboot either my PC or the printer about half that time. Then I upgraded to a new Windows 10 laptop and downloaded the Brother software. There were a lot of bugs and errors in the installation process but I finally got through it.     Dont' Buy!!!! This is a very poor product even though it was reviewed as one of the best printers for 2018. I wish I could return it. It's noisy and has a ticking sound when printing that is most annoying. It prints extremely low and double sided printing is excruciatingly slow comparative to the last printer we had. I took a chance on this printer based on online reviews and regret my choice. Wasted my money, $250+. Prefer my old Epson printer to this.

    Bought because I thought the ink would last longer I have had this 13 months and used it for normal home use, not business use. The ink absorber pad is now full and it would cost more to replace it than it is worth. Brother warranty department said it was covered, but it is not.....called the service center near me to verify. Had a canon and hp before this and got this because I was tired of changing ink cartridges all the time.     Less than a month and I am having problems with paper jams I wanted to keep this printer! I spent a lot of time researching printers and this is the one I chose. The design, small footprint and multi functional capabilities were appealing. It was easy to set up in a short amount of time. The print is lighter than I wanted, which I was willing to accept. The real problem is the paper feeder is starting to jam more and more frequently (I have had it less then a month.) I am sending it back.

    Meh Well it works, some of the time. Firmware updates and phone- tablet usage is uneven and why it get two stars. When it works on my Mac it won't on my wife's Surface. Needed to hard-wire with ethernet to my router because the wireless was so inconsistent. I have a wireless Brother printer in my office, which also took longer than it should have to wirelessly connect, but once everything updated and connected it works consistently unlike this one in my home office.     Connectivity with the printer was terrible. All other devices in the house work fine ... Connectivity with the printer was terrible. All other devices in the house work fine on the router but this Brother printer did not want to find the IP address. First service call when installing the printer lasted an hour but credit to the service rep is he was able to resolve for me. Performed a firmware update 3 months later and all settings reset.     Document feeder easily jammed. Print quality was poor Document feeder easily jammed. Print quality was poor. Printing speed was slow. Not much positive to say about this printer.

    How can Amazon make such a stupid and dangerous mistake It might be an OK printer. I never had a chance to find out. Amazon shipped a 110V version to a 230V country, so it blew up when I plugged it in. Return shipping cost will be around $300, almost the same as the POS is worth, of which Amazon generously offers to cover a maximum of $15, so basically I have no comeback. How can Amazon make such a stupid and dangerous mistake?
