Today, Mintahoe Catering & Events is the largest family-owned and family-operated catering company in Minnesota. With four bustling catering divisions and nine signature venues, we understand that every event and every client is unique. We were pleased to choose Mintahoe as our catering vendor for our wedding event. A multiple of our vendors had worked with Minathoe and recommended us, making it an easy option to choose them. Pros - Extremely professional in all forms of correspondence during the weeks leading up to the event and the day of the event. We had a mixed experience with Mintahoe. The communication leading up the wedding was poor. They were slow to communicate and it did stress us out a bit. They also canceled a tasting at the last minute and it was challenging to find an alternative time (although they eventually accommodated us after a lot of back and forth with our wedding planner). However, they did comp us an appetizer to make up for some of the communication issues. Also, the food on the day of was quite good.
We worked with Mintahoe for our wedding and the food was fantastic! Sydney was so helpful throughout the planning process! The staff was also very helpful and attentive throughout the whole night.
We had our wedding reception at MN Boat Club in September, and had a great time! From booking to event date, working with the fine folks at Mintahoe was a breeze! Everything was easy to manage- it truly took off a lot of the stress! The food was fantastic. The drinks were great. The venue was breathtaking. We loved our time and would highly recommend booking with Mintahoe ☺️
Amazing to work with and kept our budget in mind. The food was delicious and loved by all, the vegetarian meals came out at just the right time and the guests that had them loved them. The specialty cocktails were amazing and we loved that seltzers were part of the beer/wine package. Our mini cake was adorable and the desert table was gone so fast we didn't even see it!
We had a great experience working with Mintahoe Catering & Events for our wedding! A venue we initially wanted to look at was going to be way out of our budget, Mintahoe offered other options within our budget and we ended up going with and loving the Solar Arts building in NE Minneapolis. It was such a great space! Mintahoe was helpful, responsive, professional, and fun to work with throughout the whole process.
We loved working with Mintahoe for our wedding. First, they were super organized. They had a menu for us, clear deadlines, and pricing all laid out when we started the journey. Rather than doing one-on-one tastings they do group tastings, which lets you get a lot more options (remember to pace yourself!). Mintahoe was absolutely wonderful to work with. I wrote a glowing and honest review of Nicollet Island Pavilion, our wedding venue, and the privilege of working with Morgan Brady (an absolute angel). But beyond the gorgeous venue and amazing Morgan’s venue coordination, guests had WONDERFUL things to say about our food, drink, and service thanks to Mintahoe. We can't say enough about how fantastic it was working with Mintahoe for our wedding! We loved having CJ as our contact-she was incredibly responsive and easy to work with. She answered any and all questions and helped us create a great plan for our big day, which went off without a hitch!
