I LOVE living at Mira Bella. The apartments are spacious and gorgeous, with modern/updated appliances like stainless steel and granite in the kitchen and bathrooms. The dark espresso wood cabinetry is so classy and elegant, it's definitely a style you won't find anywhere else. Also, HELLO AMENITIES! And, they're ALL included in the rent. Since my last review a few things have definitely improved! I feel like they completely brought the cleanliness up a notch for one thing. I'm noticing the elevators are staying clean as well as the gym equipment. Also, they've added a new trash removal system that makes disposal easier (not that it needed to be) and tidiness in the overall complex much more apparent. No more smelly trash rooms! The cool thing about this place is that it is located right off the 805 freeway and 163. I think you can quickly get anywhere in sSD from here. A very central location. We have been at Mira Bella for about 6 months. Mira Bella is located by the 163/805 intersection. It was kind of a pain to move in but we had movers so it made it easier on us. Trucks always block the entrance because this is the only space they fit and cannot go in the garage. We enjoy the complex, amenities (cooking demonstrations, gym area). The difficult aspect of this process is weighing the over optimistic apartment reps and the angry residents who tend to post reviews. Moved in one month ago Interior: Clean, upscale, large. Perfect size for middle class family or a pair of college students. THe 3 Bed 2 Bath is HUGE! At 2400 dollars a month i do not reccomend this for someone on a tight budget. But it is perfect if you are a group of 3 or 4 professionals who can afford to split. The entire year I lived here they had construction workers almost every single morning working on "improvements" sometimes going against the law and starting as early as 6 am with loud machinery. I personally called the office at least 3 times to complain and they claimed they "talked to them" but changes were never made. I essentially was living in an active constitution site for a whole year which is INSANE for how much they charge. Their prices are at the top for a unit, and they have other issues. This apartment has completely gone downhill in recent years. Aside from the constant elevator issues, poor grounds maintenance, and lacking security mentioned by others, there has been a increasing problem with drugs and smoking neglected by management. My wife and I found a meth pipe in the garage once, and there have been several times we have found dime bags in the stairwells. This used to be a very nice condo when new 14 years ago & with previous manager. Since 2019 new manager took over and it has since then only went down hill. The jacuzzi has been broken for 2 years +... jets don't work & it's not heated properly. Pool is always dirty - mold. Most cameras in the building are fake/ don't work. Parking structure is dangerous. I had cars broken in & my car was also stolen ( thank God I located with GPS). Theyll also tow quickly even their own residents & guest.
