I had filed a homeowners claim with Nationwide when I called a plumber to fix a leak and it turned into much more. The first phone call to claims they farmed it out to one of the water restoration companies they use. That evening they said that company can't do any work until someone could come out and take pictures. That was going to be more than a week. In the last year car insurance went up ****** per month. Called to check to see why they would not give me any answers. Maybe they need to quit sponsoring sports and take care of there customers.

I would not recommend nationwide to anyone! They make it very difficult to switch policies and give you all sorts of loopholes and excuses to avoid coverage or reimbursement owed to the customer.

If I could give a negative 10 I would! I have never in my 50 years of life been more frustrated over such deplorable customer service. I have emailed ********************** via the website 3 times now, promised a response within 3 business days, I never hear from anyone. Nationwide cancelled my dogs policy that I purchased when she was 8 weeks old. Whole Pet with Wellness, their gold Standard policy, with gold Standard premiums. They cancelled her 1 month after she turned 8 years old. Never offering to move her to another policy without underwriting to cover the preexisting conditions that were covered under her whole Pet with Wellness policy. I bought a pet insurance from Nationwide through my company. Prior to signing up, I had taken my pet to the veterinarian once for a minor urinary track infection, and once for throwing up. Urinary track infection obviously cleared and throwing up ended up being nothing. Both times, the blood tests and urine tests(2nd time) came out clean.
