30 years home and auto without a claim. A hailstorm dinged up my roof and now a window leeks. Their own inspection said no doubt it is hail damage. Not covered? While neighbors covered by other companies are getting new roofs? Then told I will need to make repairs at my own expense or they will drop me? Not on my side. Nationwide takes my $ and then does not help when I need it.

Terrible service! Denied at every turn!Terminated because of one claim!That was not even ours. Neighbor's unit flooded our house and we were forced to file a claim to repair our home. Avoid them if you value your mental health!

I wish I could leave zero stars. Nationwide is a predatory company. Over 9 years having their pet insurance, our monthly payment went from $60/month to $645/month. They claimed that we'd never be kicked off our policy, but being a shady company, they just priced us out of insurance coverage for our dog instead. They've been very transparent about the fact that they want to discontinue the policy we had because it's not making them enough money, so every year they've made ridiculous increases to our rate (this year, the renew... read more

Nationwide is absolutely horrible, been dealing with them for three months, a huge tree had fell on the back of my house havent got anywhere in my claim. I am now on my second claim specialist. The first one barely communicated with us. The second one has no clue where the information is at that was sent to the first claim specialist. I have had Nationwide Insurance for over 10 years! They recently tried to pull a fast one on me because I was paying a decent price for my vehicles. I have auto pay set up with them and they took a payment and reversed it. I am a busy person so had no idea this happened.... When I was aware of what happened, I tried calling them multiple times and they would not answer. I bought a travel policy from ******* (A Nationwide company) on 12/04/2023 for a trip with American Queen ******* on 12/07/2024. Policy # NW0136-03, Certificate # *******.American Queen filed for bankruptcy on 02/2024 & cancelled this trip. Our claim to your company was denied. We then requested a return of our premium paid for this policy, $498, & it also was denied.This policy is not effective until 12/07/2024. It was valid only for the period of 12/07/24 until 12/15/24. We've had Nationwide for a number of years, but this is going to be the last one. One of our cats has had crystals in his urine ages ago which Nationwide treated as a preexisting condition. Fine. But denying a claim for a completely unrelated (as attested to by a veterinarian) UTI just because of an episodic illness that occurred four years ago, treating any further urinary issues as preexisting conditions and then refusing to listen to reason and provide access to decision-makers in order to discuss the issue is unconsciona... read more

Every time I try to go to the website for my insurance the page is blank. Whoever is in charge of their website is obviously incompetent. I will absolutely be switching pet insurances soon and am appalled by this company. Definitely will never go through this company for any insurance needs. My recommendation is 0/10 find somewhere/anywhere else.

I had Nationwide till they kept raising my rates on my mortgage. I am still waiting to get my money back my policy was canceled and have not received my money for over a month now. Very poor customer service you can't speak with anybody they have an automated system that just keeps giving you the runaround and then hangs up on you. My escrow is short now and I got to come up with the money because my other bills are due. What a lie nationwide's on your side the only side there on us for themselves I wouldn't go with them
