I bought a pet insurance from Nationwide through my company. Prior to signing up, I had taken my pet to the veterinarian once for a minor urinary track infection, and once for throwing up. Urinary track infection obviously cleared and throwing up ended up being nothing. Both times, the blood tests and urine tests(2nd time) came out clean. We had a hail storm and we have damage. We have had 3 different companies come out and look. 2 inspections. Were denyed. But everyone else around us got new roofs. Im dealing with an adjuster who told us he was going to get an Engineer out to find out he lied. They dont come out anymore. My roof upstairs in home and downstairs is leaking. RUN AWAY! A horrendous company that does not live up to their consideration in their contracts!!! My insurance company is not honoring my policy to repair my roof damages. They have approved about 90% of my roof, but refuse to cover the last 10% of the repairs needed. Worse insurance company I have ever encountered. They failed to *** my account for my auto premium, so they cancelled my policy, and didnt bother to tell me for a month. Then they increased my homeowners insurance because I didnt qualify for the multiple policy discount. Three days later I cancelled homeowners policy and they deducted an extra $264.00 from final check for a policy change that I never made. Been with Nationwide for over 5 years. Have bundle insurance for all cars and two properties. We were hit by a hail storm recently, and Nationwide denied the claim. The house next door and lot of houses in my neighborhood are getting covered by their insurance companies, but Nationwide denied the claim. Well totally disappointed with them, they went through great lengths with technical c*** about only top portion is damaged but the shingles are still not damaged enough to replace the roof. 30 years home and auto without a claim. A hailstorm dinged up my roof and now a window leeks. Their own inspection said no doubt it is hail damage. Not covered? While neighbors covered by other companies are getting new roofs? Then told I will need to make repairs at my own expense or they will drop me? Not on my side. Nationwide takes my $ and then does not help when I need it.

Terrible service! Denied at every turn!Terminated because of one claim!That was not even ours. Neighbor's unit flooded our house and we were forced to file a claim to repair our home. Avoid them if you value your mental health!

I wish I could leave zero stars. Nationwide is a predatory company. Over 9 years having their pet insurance, our monthly payment went from $60/month to $645/month. They claimed that we'd never be kicked off our policy, but being a shady company, they just priced us out of insurance coverage for our dog instead.
