I think nationwide is a scam. How can you charge your customers under a "claim" for calling and asking questions when it comes to the policy that they are paying for? Nationwide will then put the "claims" against said customer and then tell them they won't renew the policy leaving the customer in a position not to be insured by anyone. Because they have ow been put into "insurance jail" and wont any other insurance company help them. Please beware. I received a letter saying Non Renewal from Nationwide Pet Insurance saying due to inflation.Ive had both my Maltese with Nationwide since they were since were both puppies now one is 10 1/2 yrs and the other one is 5 1/2 years. They said I would have to re enroll any preexisting will not be covered. This is awful.I called customer service and she told me I had to wait 6 weeks and then reapply as a new client and their pre existing will not be covered if they indeed accepted us. My name is ******* ******and I have been with nationwide over five years, they need to take that commercial out because nationwide is not on your side, every six months my premiums go up, you can never get n touch with your so called agent, and finally they say that you get a three day grace period, my bill is due the 16th of each month I paid it on the 19th and they charge me $15.00 , well I’m seeking to take my business somewhere else

I just went through their website and gave all of my information requested to get auto insurance. I haven't had an accident in over 3 years and I have a high credit score. Nationwide said they couldn't help me and referred me to ****** and ********. Ok, if you don't want my money, then that's fine.

BEWARE OF NATIONWIDE HOME INSURANCE. I DO NOT USUALLY WRITE REVIEWS, BUT HAD TO FOR THIS INSTANCE. IN AUGUST 2023, I RECEIVED A “POLICY NOTIFICATION” REQUIRING ME TO COMPLETE WORK ON MY HOUSE BASED ON AN AUDIT IN ORDER TO KEEP MY POLICY. WHO GETS THAT? NO ONE I KNOW WHO OWNS A HOME HAS GOTTEN AUDITED AND WE JUST HAVE A BASIC HOUSE, NOT IN A FLOOD ZONE OR ANYTHING. When my dog was approximately three months old, I bought a major medical policy for him from nationwide. I never had a claim that exceeded my deductible until he was almost 3 years old. At that time, he started developing a paralysis in his hind legs. We had it diagnosed and he required surgery to correct the issue. Nationwide has denied every single claim that I have submitted on this policy. They have even denied the diagnostic work that resulted in the surgery. They are the WORST when it comes to home owners insurance. Recently had a roof leak. Called in a claim and hired a contractor to begin repairs by laying down a tarp to prevent further damage. Nationwide sent their inspector who not only removed the tarp but failed to reinstall. Contractor had to come out again to repair and documented further damage to roof incurred by NATIONWIDE. Claim was promptly denied and ZERO help given by Nationwide. They sent a secondary inspector out to appease our complaints and they again tried to... read more

One star is too many. This company has given us the run around since 2/14/24…today is 4/17/24. This is regards to an outstanding amount owed of $193.41 to the estate of a deceased pensioner. This is the worst service I’ve ever encountered and the incompetence is alarming .

They can’t take down a correct address, so they will make your policy for the wrong location, then mail your bill to the wrong address, then cancel your policy without notice. Their website doesn’t work. Their app didn’t work for the nearly two years I had my policy with them. They should be called a scam provider instead of an insurance provider as they seem to not care about their customers experience at all, and they’d rather cancel your policy than keep you as a customer.
