I need to rollover my previous 401k account with Nationwide. I called them, waited for an hour, while the estimated wait time was 5 min. When I left my information for them to call back, for at least 3 times, they never did. Every time I try to talk to a representative, it takes at least 2 hours just to get in touch with them. And my issue never got resolved for several months. Worst service ever!

Worst company!!! Been waiting on a payout since October. They sent a check to the body shop which was cashed and my car later was deemed a total loss now they say I have to get money from body shop myself and they will cut a check for the rest of the value. How is it my responsibility to get back money you sent out prematurely. It’s your job to get your money back. It was your mistake. I would never recommend this company.

Nationwide is my worst experience about the insurance company. I purchased my home insurance on last November 2022 and they contacted me for inspection. I scheduled inspection with them at 3 p.m and during those time, I didn't even cook or clean or do anything in my house because I'm ready for them to come over anytime. The house roof was damaged due to hailstorm and high wind that happened on 12 July 2022. I can never understand how two people can be so far off - no hailstorm and wind damage by Nationwide’s Inspector and the Engineer and three reputable licensed and registered reputable independent Roofing Contractors and the HOA confirmed the damaged due to hailstorm and high wind and recommend full roof replacement. I used Nationwide travel insurance and 6 months later am still playing email tag with the company. They continue to request the same receipts that I've previously sent in. It's clear they don't want to pay out on the claim and their customer service associates aren't helpful.
My house flooded. Nationwide sent a plumber to my house and he said my septic system had failed. Nationwide put me in a hotel for almost two months. I had to continue to pay all my living expenses like I was at home and buy expenses living for living out of a hotel. One of my vehicles was in the shop and I needed a new battery for the other one so I held off on taking care of either one of them because I live on a fixed income. I was seeking a new insurance provider for my commercial properties and decided to try Nationwide. The worst experience and decision possible. I followed the long process of rolling over my 457B account. After submitting, and resubmitting, the required documents, I was told that I didn't submit a Letter of Acceptance (LOA), which was not the case. Only after contacting *** ******** ******** ******** **************, did they clarify that my LOA was not submitted in their preferred file format, pdf (I submitted it as a word document because that's what was shared with me).
