The company is very hard to work with. I do not recommend. Seemingly prejudice. They do not look for resolution when it come to policy with there customers. They should be investigated for there practices and customer treatment.

Put in a claim for the first time in 5 years as has had hail damage with picture proof and video on October 20 *************************************************************** the last year? Live in **** so I no thats bs plus the video proof they also stated my roof was improperly installed which is also incorrect my roof was perfect when I bought the house and had it fully inspected 10/10 will be changing insurance companies

I have used Nationwide in the past for pet insurance and had no issues. I now am having nothing but issues. I enrolled my pets in a policy several years ago. When there was a change to my CC info., I forgot to notify them and the policies canceled. I re-enrolled them last year and after providing medical records, proof of vaccinations, recent physicals, etc., I heard nothing more and figured all was fine. After 40 + years we have had 3 claims 1st a theft of about $2500 and two weather related Roof damages. The second clam they only covered half the roof and refused to do the other half. Now we have a third heal damage claim. They covered the house and storage building but refused the workshop root and gutters. They also refused part of the gutters on the main house. Received a letter demanding certain updates to Home of we want to retain coverage. What a joke.

Dear Nationwide, I do the smart thing, I insured my pet. You promised in your advertising when I did that you wouldnt cancel or raise rates just because your pet gets sick. My kitty gets cancer, yes you covered me as promised but the next year you tripled my rate and the year after that you canceled my plan and forced me into a plan that covers my cancer kitty to less than a fifth that what was originally covered and you called it migrating to a similar coverage. DO NOT EVER USE NATIONWIDE FOR ANYTHING ESPECIALLY PET INSURANCE!!! ****** has pet insurance with them through his job and we just got notice that they are canceling the policy for our dog and cat on December 1st due to "rising cost" and "inflation". I will never use them again and never ever recommend them to anyone and I urge anyone that has them to switch.

Been paying full coverage for almost 30 yrs on our home with Nationwide, never once made a claim on the house. Recently made a claim because we had a guy taking care of the house while we took care of my wifes mom due to sickness. He got behind on the bills so we evicted him. He got upset because he expected us to pay his bills he got behind on.
