Paid into nationwide insurance for 13 years and never filed a claim. I have a major roof leak and they won't approve it. Don't waste your time with this company they will take your money and never deliver on their promise.

They dropped my 8-year-old senior dog from her coverage, which we have been paying for since I got her at 2 years old. She was diagnosed with medical conditions while on it, and they are now considered pre-existing conditions, which means those will NEVER be covered again because of this stupid company, and all the rates get jacked up at other companies! I recommend not using this company for your insurance needs, since if something is inconvenient for them, they can just drop your coverage and ***** your finances when anima... read more

NATIONWIDE IS NOT ON YOUR SIDE! We bought a brand new vehicle in 2024, and it was totaled in a wreck that was no fault to us. We have used nationwide for atleast 10 years and have had GAP insurance on all three of our new vehicles. Clearly, none of this means anything to Nationwide Insurance, since they gave us LESS than ***** Blue Book value for the two year old totaled vehicle. Nationwide has clearly chosen to have good metrics but making it impossible to speak to someone. Daily they call to tell me to call them and verify info to complete the transaction. When I call back, the system insists I do not have an account and hangs up. I attempted to message the company on social media but they dont accept messages. Next up, a complaint to the state attorney general.

After 38 years and 90 dollars a month nationwide wants to raise it to 700 a month for my life insurance, they sold us a junk policy years ago

HORRIBLE customer service. Can't get in touch with a human so that you can get problems resolved. I will now finally leave them after many years of loyalty to them. I have never been so frustrated in my whole life. On top of the fact that the only reason I needed to contact them was to force them to do their JOB of sending information that is required every year to the appropriate party.

Nationwide is a horrible company. I was hit by someone whos insured through them, and they came and gave me a estimate, wrote me a check for the damage then called a week later to say that was a mistake and the adjuster should have never wrote me a check yet and that I need to return the money, after it has already been cashed and I was in the process of getting my car to a shop. They would not renew coverage when we moved to a different state because we once filed a very small homeowner's claim ($2K for water damage) after paying into the policy for YEARS. They are unethical crooks. They also would not renew our auto insurance for one of our vehicles, which happens to be a van, because they decided that it was now an RV, based on a photo of the van with some bikes inside it.
