I have held a nationwide pet insurance policy since 2019, all was great until a couple weeks ago. When I had an emergency with my Labrador that unfortunately ended in goodbyes. I had discovered that the policy was canceled due to an expired debit card. I never once received any notification from their billing department via mail, phone or email. Shady business practices. The website takes 14 days to verify an address change without notifying you prior to the address change that it will trigger a 14 day hold on your account. Cant rollover/withdraw in that timeframe even if you call the support *********** verify you. Bureaucratic & inconvenient process. In this day and age i wouldn't recommend.

THEEE WORST insurance company EVER! I am shopping around as we speak for a new provider because they KEEP s******* up basic things like they had my property as a Frame building and I've called to correct it twice. How come they didn't CLEARLY see the brick and cinder block when they went out for inspection - OR DID THEY EVER GO OUT???? They sent me a cancelation for non payment saying I'm on monthly payments but I'm escrowed and they pay ANNUALLY.... Years ago I was offered an endorsement on my homeowners policy with Nationwide for "Equipment Breakdown". My agent informed this would cover loss from any major appliances that could potentially result in high costly repairs. Instead of me getting a home warranty company, and was advised to get this endorsement. Have been a Nationwide customer for almost 30 years. I have NEVER had an at-fault claim. I have not changed my address, have not changed my commute to work, nothing. Just called to find out why my premium increased by 30% and I was informed it was "because of your age". I'm not even 65 yet. Bad look Nationwide. This not-yet-a-senior is now shopping for another insurer. Buyers beware and keep shopping.

I bought a car in March 2025, and it was totaled in June 2025 by a young driver who admitted 100% fault in a statement to insurance and police. The writers of my Gap insurance loan did everything they could to loophole paying the remaining $2000 on my car. I paid this company $900 to protect me and they paid $154 and pocketed everything I PAID, and they failed me while having profits of millions.
