We have two 2020 Nissan Sentras. The locks have gone out on each of these cars two times which is unheard of (4 total repairs). There is either something clearly defective with the manufacturing or the dealer doesn't know how to do the repairs. On this last repair Nissan offered to cover 80% but that still left me with a bill of $102. I definitely don't want to be spending $102 every 1.5 years to fix the lock on a car ($204 since I have two cars). Something is seriously wrong with the lock system. Definitely not feeling like... read more

Jimmy was good and kept us informed. But, we are truly disappointed with Nissan and your dealership. We have two 2020 Sentras that we bought from your dealership in 2021. The locks have failed on each car and needed to repaired 4 times now. We have never had this occur with any other make of car that we have owned. The last repair on my wife's Sentra was 1 1/2 years ago and now it has failed again. There has been a goodwill offer to repair the locks where the dealer will cover 80% and we cover 20% (a total of $102). There is... read more

Business response:

Hi, thank you for taking the time to let us know about your recent experience. We are disappointed to hear that you are not satisfied with your visit. Based on your description of the reoccurring issue with the locks, it sounds like a manufacturing concern. As a dealer we always have our customers best interest at heart; however, based on this situation contacting Nissan Consumer affairs is what we would recommend. We are the selling dealer; however, we only sell and service if there is a manufacturing issue that must be bro... read more

Refuses to fix warranty issues. Trying to add on additional repairs that aren’t needed. I have pictures of my own OBD2 sensor showing DTC P00AF, indicating turbo actuator or high pressure turbo charger that is specifically detailed in Quality action campaign bulletins issued 01/06/2023. Reference: PC919, PC920. This guy wants me to pay $250 for a full diagnostics and add other issues that are not covered by warranty. Per Nissan warranty process, “Warranty repairs will be made at no charge for parts and/or labor, INCLUDING DI... read more

Business response:

Hello Jose, I spoke to the service Manager and the repairs that you are requesting are not covered under warranty because your vehicle has over 100K miles. You stated that you have pictures of the OBD2; however, the only codes that your vehicle currently has are P0463-00, P242C-00 and last P2540-00, which have nothing to do with the turbo you requested from Manny. We aren't sure where the codes you listed came from. As for diagnosis fee, you are being charged because your vehicle is out of factory warranty. If you wish to fu... read more

Dealership is great. Good service, and great attendants. But Nissan was dishonest when it came to my warranty when they refused to stand behind their product. I was sold a car that I paid in full yet the transmission went out at 90k. I was told over the phone by Nissan that CVT transmission warranty is extended to 100k and to take my car to the nearest dealer I took that to the dealer, and I paid 250 to be told something we already knew, and worse, Nissan then changed their mind and said they will not replace it. Paid to tow... read more

Hello, we are glad to hear that our team provided you with a positive experience but disappointed to hear of your troubles with the manufacturer. I am not sure if you have already reached out to Consumer affairs, but here is their number in case you would like to contact them for further assistance 800-NISSAN-1. Thank you once again for your feedback. Take care! Kind Regards, Elizabeth Reyes Customer Relations Manager
