I moved out of my iStorage unit n March 5, 2023. My boyfriend went on March 6th to let them know I had vacated my unit He waited 2.5 hours for someone to show up & they never came in. He then went to the other iStorage unit in Madison Heights & let them know I had vacated. He was given a receipt showing termination date of March 6. I rented this unit on line. I emailed your customer service email two days ago, but still haven't heard back. I’d still love to chat with someone other than the property or area manager. I’ve gotten no real help or questions answered in three weeks. Why is there no record of the lease agreement I signed in 2020, and why did the property manager take it upon herself to docusign a new one for me? The IP address is recorded. Horrible experience throughout, they promised 1st month free and refuse to honor it, and they refused to reimburse my money when I closed my unit within a day of the charge

I have moved my stuff in here last week of November . By the first week in December my items were being chewed threw and rat poop was on my items. Mind you I just purchased all this new furniture May of 2022. I had an outside unit and they offered to let me move my stuff to an inside unit. Mind you I am a single woman and single mother so I had to do all of this moving again alone. Fast forward to now , my mattresses are ruined and have rat poop in the inside unit once again . You would be safer locking your belongings to a bench along Spring Water Trail than trusting NW Self Storage (now NSA Trust) to protect them. My unit was broken into sometime between 2/4 and 2/18, and completely ransacked. About $10k in property was stolen, and based on the size of some items (multiple 8’ surfboards, 88qt cooler, full sized bbq) this occurred over multiple days. Great staff over the last thirteen years, even with multiple companies purchasing the storage company. Initially it was ideal, great STAFF, great price, great discounts offers to military members, great insurance prices, clean surroundings. Then Move-it purchased the location and everything changed. The only last good thing was the staff, but everything else was ridiculous. The Best part about iStorage is the Manager Andy Cantu. I had previously visited to see a unit that I had chosen on line.The advertisement listed a single large unit , but when I arrived it was actually two small separate units side by side. No way this would work for what I needed. Andy to the rescue! He showed me some other options, was very honest and respectful and went out of his way to make things right.
