….fair … the previous owner was so much better … now lack of customer service… no manager on site to provider services … outside areas are dirty and full of spider webs … motion sensors not functioning … no light in hallways … dark and hot … and my unit was pitched dark … could not see
Service at the Oak Forest facility is pathetic
Had my things in this storage company. I got in a car accident and I wasn’t able to remove things. Two years after the accident I finally could only to discover mold due to a flaw in the construction. I tried to do a claim on the insurance they charged me every month and it was denied!!! I will never recommend them to anyone. It is a scam!!!!

Trying to talk to somebody in the Oak Forest office is like trying to contact Joe Biden. Each time I was there nobody was in the office and my phone messages were never returned. If it were not such a Hassle I would move.
unit was broken into on the second day. extremely dilapidated, trash everywhere. obvious drug addicts hanging around. multiple other units clearly broken into. the security guard told me the person working the office was to return at 11 am, at 12:30 pm.

At some point the storage room late to my boxes got wet. The seal on the door was faulty and dirt constantly blew in the storage room. I did clean it out and left in good condition but yet Southern would not give me my deposit back that I had paid to A Key. I just feel like this was unfair to an elderly person on Social Security and I leave the unit very unhappyWith this policy
