Super quick & really kind ! They give you complimentary drinks & the waiting isn't long at all . They let you know about the prices, no hiding it like other places do after they've done the job. Second time coming here & I will keep coming back.
I went to oil stop to get an oil change and they also recommended an air filter so I said okay. About 3 weeks later my check engine light comes on. I take it in to my shop where they do a diagnostic. He calls after the diagnostic and asked if I have gotten my air filter changed recently because when they replaced it they improperly connected a tube to the air filter which cause air to get into the tube and caused the check engine light to come on. I wish I would have checked Yelp before I wrote this review so I could have used the coupon!! Anyways, I was in town and looking for thrift stores and an oil change. Lucky for me, there's a thrift store right next to this place!! I pulled up and the nice front desk girl immediately greeted me, got my info, and informed me it's be a 45 minute wait. I called to ask how much it would cost to do an oil, lube and filter on my 2012 Toyota Corolla. The guy told me it would be $100. I told him he was crazy and hung up. The shop I usually go to that also is on college avenue usually does the oil change on my car and with a coupon I get online it costs me around $50. I'm not crazy...even the Toyota dealership doesn't charge $100 for an oil, lube, and filter on my car. What a rip off!
Our son came home to visit, and have his 2008 car smogged. It failed, and needed the Oxygen Sensor replaced. We ended up at Oil Stop on Santa Rosa Avenue where the work could be completedin an hour or so. A $35-$55 sensor cost $350 there! In our absence the "mechanic" replaced the Fresh Air Intake Hose/Tube; without authorization. As a "...favor..." he installed a replacement at his cost... $110. I had a stress-free experience here during my first ever visit here. Upon rolling in towards the front, I was told by an employee it would be about a 45 minute wait. The man asked me what I wanted to drink and brought me back a 7-Up promptly. There was two cars in front of me and it took about 40 minutes for my pick-up truck to finally get serviced.
