They took my credit card number and then didn't show up at our appointment time or call. This review needs to be 0 stars! DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Orkin runs like a scam company, and were about as effective as one too. We called them for mice issues, and the traps they bought were the cheapest think you could find on the internet, and they didn't even work. We found mouse fur in them but never mice. They charged us over $100 each time, just to drop off these paper traps. We tried to cancel, but it was like pulling teeth, and when we finally were successful they needed 30 days, which meant another $100+ visit and charge. I would make it zero stars if allowed, Orkin sucks in plain terms. I was looking to leave Terminix due to technicians not showing up at agreed upon times only to have my INITIAL treatment as a new customer canceled by text 20 minutes after they confirmed I was next with a lame "we're sorry for the inconvenience, due to unforeseen circumstances" I called to reschedule & complain, customer service was rude saying "Ma'am, I'm not the one who didn't show up at your home" then calling 3 additional times, on hold for 29 minutes wi... read more
I did not like this company in any way. I feel like they just don't care even though they say it over and over and any product they did use didn't seem to solve my issues. I really don't know why I gave them a chance at all.
We have bees in the walls. We called other pest control places and they could not come out for a few days. We called Orkin and they could come out the same day. However, what they don't tell you is that an "inspector" will be out to assess the issue. Your issue is not resolved that day. We had no idea. The inspector did not come out the same day. The customer service at Orkin was absolutely horrible. I had called for same day service as I had an issue and was heading out of town for an extended period of time. They only allowed me the option for same day service if I locked myself into a 1-year contract with them. I read the contract and understood that it could be cancelled within 3 business days. do not recommend recommended using organ will never use them ever again. They are so unprofessional and very disorganized. If I could write zero, I would.
I used Orkin a while back after one of the guys retired. He told me that they only use a very small portion of the stuff. That's why they never get rid of the bugs. They are the worst company out there. It cost me a lot of money. For them plus the new furniture they are a rip off and this is the do not supposed will never get rid of anything. I really, really wish I had researched and read the reviews before contracting this company. I have a termite issue. Pepole came out and appointment was scheduled for to today to start treatment. Have not seen or heard from anyone. Feeling like I've been scammed.
