After Christmas I called to postpone my service before the next scheduled appointment, I kept receiving calls day after day saying that they were on their way to my house, I had to call back at least 5 times, then I get a bill in March saying that they been charging me the whole time and have no record that I postponed the service, yet they were never let in my house. Horrible experience
I had Orkin come to my house on March 13th after spotting a mouse inside. When the technician arrived, he caused me a lot of stress by claiming that I had a mouse infestation and recommending that I remove all the insulation in my attic and replace it with their own. He pointed to what he claimed were tracks left by the mice in my insulation, saying there were a lot of them. The proposed solution was going to cost me over $10,000. Orkin is good at one thing. Taking your money. they then have the techs say you need extras to grease there pockets. it's not the techs fault it's upper region management ordering more revenue. in Indiana. service it your self.
I can't believe we called them for service without reading these reviews. My mother got bed bugs and so far I'm out nearly $2k and we still have bed bugs. They keep sending a guy over here who uses his iphone flashlight to find evidence of the bed bugs. No wonder he never finds them. Do not waste your money and time here. They are not professional exterminators- just some franchisees that hire kids to come spray your house and overcharge for ineffective service.
A little over a year ago we hired Orkin because we found Bed bugs! And we still have them!!! They come 1-2 times a months for 13 months! I'm always calling and complaining and mention the money back guarantee and the manager is not trying to hear that!!!!
Absolutely awful!!! We have been paying monthly for their service and it is the biggest waste of money! We initially hired them for spiders and bugs in the house, my infant son would wake up with bites. They would come out to spray and we noticed no difference, so there were multiple occasions we had to call them to come back with a "different formula" which never really fixed the issue. Called to cancel my service the 1st week of October and was told it would be taken care of. I asked for an email to follow up the conversation person assured me a manager would follow up in 24 to 48 hours. Bank account still charged in October so I called back spoke to another person no results. Called back again irate and asked to speak to a supervisor, spoke to one who once again stated would follow up with me nothing. I have a claim in with my bank to reject all charges from Orkin, never again.
do not waste your time or money they fake spray and act like they are spraying but they arent i got rid of mine but it wasnt from orkins help i found another way
Wish I could give them no stars! They're terrible. I first signed up because I was having an issue with mice, when they came out they were timely and laid traps around my home. The traps they laid didn't catch anything so I went and bought my own traps and caught 3 mice. I called them and told them that their traps weren't working, they did nothing about it.
