Do not trust Orlando VW South with even a basic oil change! They ruined my daughters beautiful brand new VW Taos with an oil change. My local mechanic tells me that its possible this car will now have an engine that leaks oil as a result and we have to live with it. Heres what happened. On Nov 21, I took it in for an oil change. I regret my purchase with Orlando VW South because of how dishonest they are. They sold me an MPP Club Plus (for tires) policy that I didn't want. They will argue that the policy is noncancellable when in fact it is. It's written in the policy it's cancellable, and you may call the insurance company to assist you with canceling the policy (the dealer will not tell you this). The coverage was denied anyway because my car is too old, the dealer should have known not to sell it in the first place.

Mechanical service is fine, however, the customer service at this service department is terrible. Went in to pick up vehicle and was ignored by 3 employees before a 4th assisted after several minutes waiting. Got the company customer survey back and shared my concern. Robert Topping the Service Director emailed me back and retaliated by putting a note in my file to reject all future appointments. new time to fix the mirror. After a full day they could not give transportation back. I had to get they within 30 min to get my car back. The job was not done. I had to pay for the job not been finalized. I didn't get any new time. I have call to get a time so the finish the job but they don't call back. I will need to keep calling. I have tried to get his fixed for 2 years.

I was really frustrated with my service. I dropped off Sat morning @ 9, specifically asked to have my car back by Monday. This was just a 60,000 mile tune up and Id brought it in 500 miles early so it was not urgent. My husband and I were toldwe will call you with an update and timing info this afternoon. We even confirmed the Phone # bc I needed the car back. Well never heard back and when I called Sunday the service dept was closed and I could not get my car. Keys were locked up. Crazy.

They held the car for a day and a half without touching it, only to tell me that we didnt authorize them to work on the car after dropping it off and us telling them what we wanted them to check. Total BS. Then they quote me for parts only. Imagine my surprise to see the cost double. Rob, their service manager is pretty useless.
