I've been a customer here for 20 years and always went to Dr Schwartz. I took my cat to see Dr Lee today and thought he was good. But then they told me the bill. $625 for a quick office visit, a blood sugar test, urinalysis and an antibiotic? Woah! I knew their prices had gone up but that's shocking. Update: I spoke with Dr Lee and he apologized for the misunderstanding and agreed in the future we'll discuss whatever tests he is recommending and what the cost is before deciding on a course of action.

Just reaffirming my disappointment with new management, I have started to receive emails marked as coming from Overland Vet, but the return address is a company called Pawlicy Advisor, which seems to imply they are sharing or selling patient information. I miss the good ol' days of Dr. Schwartz.

DO NOT waste your time here. My expectations for customer service are generally very accommodating. I've NEVER written a bad review, anywhere. Overland Vet's incompetence has blown me away. They will fail to put your appointments on calendar. They will make you wait at least 45 minutes to be seen when they do put your appointment on calendar. They will change your appointment type from a specific time to "whenever we can squeeze you in" without telling you. They will throw prescription medicine at you in a bag and not give y... read more

The doctors at this office have always been very kind, respectful and knowledgeable. However that is when they even respond at all. I have a cat right now that has been a patient of theirs for almost 2 years. At this very moment he is dealing with asthma and some other health issues. I have left the office multiple voicemails, and have sent multiple emails begging them to get back to me and help. They still have not answered any of my correspondence. I have been taking my pets to this clinic for over 6 years. They were very responsive and friendly. Everything changed after the pandemic especially of late. We were able to talk to a staff for available appointments before but this has changed to leaving message on the phone only to find out with the message indicating that the call will be returned in 2 days. Came in with an appointment and still waited 2 hours to get our dog and another 30min to checkout. THE FRONT DESK ARE EXTREMELY SLOW! You're better off heading over to another vet practice

I rarely leave negative reviews but our experience at Overland Veterinarian was a constant challenge during COVID-19. (I can't speak to their operations prior to COVID-19, because we adopted our rescue dog during the pandemic.) My feedback is mainly due to the following: 1) I always waited a long time for curb-side check-in for appointments and once waited in the car for 75 minutes for a short appointment. We loved our vet who switched to this practice, so we made an appointment for our two corgis to see her here. We had to book two full months in advance and the practice is 30 min away, but we thought it would be worth it for our old vet, and we were so excited to introduce her to our second dog whom she hadn't met yet (because we moved out of LA for over a year during covid). We switched to this practice from a different vet at the start of last year because we'd heard really good things about the vets here. Unfortunately, it seems like something has changed in the practice in the last couple years- many of the vets we were told about don't seem to work there anymore and we have not been able to consistently see the same vet during our visits.
