This practice has lost a lot of people and from what I heard, has been sold. It seems impossible to reach someone who can actually book an appointment or answer a question. Sad that this place that used to be so good has deteriorated so badly

I called all over Los Angeles trying to find an appointment for my sick rabbit and eventually landed on overland clinic. I called and spoke with someone about my situation (I explained that my RABBIT was having some sort of respiratory issue and needed to be seen by an EXOTIC VET as soon as possible.) She scheduled me for an appointment for about a week and a half away. Hard to think of what to say in these times. We've been bringing our dog here for 6 years. 2 years ago, we would've given 5 stars. Since then, I would downgrade it considerably as its impossible to get an appointment or even a call back no matter how dire the message. It is so sad what has happened to this clinic. My daughter and I have brought our dogs here for years. Dr. Schwartz was "The Man!" NO MORE. Both of us had serious recent problems and they could not see our dogs unless we had an appointment! These were emergencies. They sent us to another clinic that took us (strangers) as walk ins. We were sent a letter telling the clinic's clients that they are under stress and that they should not be rude and treat their receptionists courteously (which we always did). Sadly after 9 years of being a patient of this clinic, I have decided to switch to another. Last time when I was there for a cleaning, they first put me on a long hold on the phone, then once checked in, I was waiting in my car for an hour and had to call back to check with them. Turns out they forgot about my dog's appointment. I was furious. No apologies from the front. The parking situation is terrible, unless you go on a weekday, their tiny parking lot becomes chaotic. Standard checkup + vaccine boosters took 3 hours from appointment starting time. Had some associated paperwork that I needed for travel, but after the pet is done with their operation, why do I have to wait for their staff that doesn't know how to fill out the paperwork to figure that out while my cats wait in the back room. It is ridiculous, I should have my cats back within 1 hour and then they can ask me to pick up the paperwork later. I scheduled my puppy's spay surgery a month ahead of time, and asked for a price quote at that time. I was told that the vet would contact me sometime in the week prior to the surgery to discuss cost and aftercare. Seemed weird that they would not discuss price up front, but I figured "how bad can it be?" It's a common procedure. The week before, I still hadn't received any information. Steer clear....,,Worst vet!! They use to be the best and over the last 1.5 yr turned into a nightmare - over charging and can't get fir weeks. Completely disorganized . I was seeing them for 7 years and so disappointed in how I've been treated. They no longer can take my pup in an emergency and tell me to schedule 4 weeks out. Doctors are never on staff.

I attempted to get a exam for my fog today. I received a busy signal when calling and tried three more times in half an hour and received the same. I was about to move on but tried one last time and a lady answered and put me on hold. I was on hold for five minutes when she replied so sorry please keep holding. When she returned she informed me all the Vets are booked for two weeks out.....I have a small scratching issue with my dog but who would wait two weeks to get it fixed??
