Heinous behavior on behalf of the owner Dr. Schwartz and the office manager. [Side note: it took me a long time to write this review because, let's face it, we're all too busy to write thoughtful reviews. Though, I appreciate those who do. But every time I pass this practice my gut pushes me to complete this so that others can be more aware. If I could give them a zero star I would. Took my dog in at 7:30am, I had someone on call to pick him up after they finished with him during The day and I never received a call, so when I got there after 5pm receptionist said they didn't know my dog was there. Doctor never saw him after being there almost 12 hours. The doctor was unaware that I had previously brought my dog in and a stool sample was already provided w/ results. Emergency cases also take priority at times and do cause inevitable delays. We try to communicate our wait times to the best of our ability and staffing levels. Spent 25 minutes waiting on hold just to be told that they have no appointments for 2 weeks, very unprofessional!

These people don't care about your animal, all they care about is turning and burning! Money baby. That's it! The doctors are too busy to see your animal so they are quick to prescribe medd with limited information. Take your pets to VCA on Sepulveda. Our dog suffered for a long time and all they did was push us off and prescribe more meds. We went to VCA and ...problem solved!

Louis Schwartz refuses to communicate with pet owners. His office is like a call center. I waited several months to get my dog seen by Dr. Schwartz. After seeing my dog briefly last week, he refuses to call me back, refuses to respond to courteous emails requesting communication. The office refuses to respond to multiple courteous emails requesting my dog's medical records, including any test results. Was gonna be a new client, since I got a referral to here. Unfortunately, I just called and was asked if I'm checking in or something else. I said I'd like to make an appointment, then the lady put me on a hold. I was on a hold for 5 minutes, then she answers again and asks the same question and puts me on a hold AGAIN! Like sooo messed up!!! You guys lost a new client, this was so unprofessional, and I definitely won't recommend your clinic to anyone.

You totally missed the point. Your callous Receptionist did not even attempt to help me or guide me or tell me where to go. She was callous and rude. It was a rescue dog. I run an animal rescue. Your clinic is a sad excuse for compassion.

When you called the clinic yesterday, Sunday, it was a very busy afternoon - the events that you described to the receptionist sounded VERY serious and like they needed immediate medical attention. I love the people here and the vets, but the wait times have been unacceptable. You will wait 50 min past your appointment time to even get seen and then another 50 after to check out. People have to work and have other things to get to. No one should be sitting there for 3 hours when the appointment only took 20 min. There is just no excuse and it has happened so many times to me at this point, I can't justify going there anymore.
