Words do not do justice to how helpful, considerate, and customer friendly Hai and his loan processor, Cindy, were to me during my latest refinance. Owning was great. I did a refi of my house with them. The process was generally simple. Why not the full 4 stars? In the beginning before I even decided to go to Owning, John my loan officer told me a "white lie". He rushed me to finish my app on a Friday evening because he was "working this weekend". Once I finished my application, I didn't hear from him (even though I emailed him and called him) until Monday. So much for working on the weekend right? Paul Manisa Didn't do a good job, he did a phenomenal job! He was very patient and very helpful. He did such a great job I ended up recommending my family members to him. Everyone needs to know how great the service was. When we first refinancing with Ownings in 2019, the experience was wonderful. This 2nd time around, let me sum it up...Richard Komant you are a bad NIGHTMARE. A big THANK YOU to Juan Huerte for everything!! If Juan Huerte's manager read this, please reconsider ALL commission given to Juan because he went above and beyond when it wasn't his job. If it wasn't for Juan making it right, I would give it a zero if I could.
I was very skeptical at first. I have refinanced several times with a Broker I trust, but I always shop around. Ownings rates and zero closing cost was really unbeatable. But I was still skeptical. Kim Tran was very helpful with my refi. Got a great rate and am very happy overall with Owning. My refi took a bit longer due to a condo HOA paperwork issue, would have given 5 stars if there had been a bit more regular communication about the holdup regarding the status of this HOA paperwork, however it was eventually resolved and I would recommend Kim Tran and Owning to anyone seeking a refi.
As you might see below, Owning did escalate my case and put me with a different representative. I ended up completing the refi process with them. They were decent to me the second time around. However they had a lot of trouble closing this loan. It went on and on and on and on...and on. My case is a very straightforward one, they just don't have good processes in place. The process was very easy and all my questions were answered up front. They followed up with each step, so there were no delays and we could close on time. We locked in on the best rate and reviewed all of the loan documents. The notary came to our house and we executed the documents We looked at other companies, but Owning was easily the right choice.
