My cat was hospitalized at Pacific Care for a couple days last week and I was really impressed by them to say the least. The facility is clean and beautiful, everyone I've spoken to has been nothing but kind and compassionate, and the doctors are incredible. I'm in the vet field myself so I'm probably pickier than most when it comes to my own pets' care. I completely trusted the staff with her. Highly recommend. Thank you all for taking care of our Penelope :)

Amazing place with friendly staff and great care! They took care of one of my cats last week who was feeling very sick. They ran labs and tests and were able to provide medicine and some prescription food sample cans to help her feel better. She felt and looked just like her happy self again in no time! Every fur baby has a different story and a different experience at the vet. Sometimes the vet and we as owners just can't help/save them. My wife and I are extremely impressed with Dr. Duesberg, her assistant Michelle and the rest of the team at Pacific Care. They have been treating our 4 year old Weimaraner for an Autoimmune disorder since April and have made steady progress where other internal medicine vets have failed. Yesterday's ultrasound revealed that the inflammation in her intestine and stomach wall has completely resolved and her bloodwork is close to perfect. I took my dog here for care and I am undecided if I would return in the future unless it was an emergency. The vet gave run around answers until I finally called her out on it and started to get some straight up answers. The vet held onto every little word I said, which sounds like it would be good, but she would take it out of context. I had brought my dog to this urgent care hospital with what appeared to be a severe infection. My dog was clearly very sick and in distress. Instead of immediate treatment, payment was discussed and required before care was started. As a pet owner in an emergency situation, that was incredibly upsetting. Treatment is very expensive and for all the money they charge, they don't treat patients very humanely or with any grace. Definitely feel like just a check to be cashed when I'm here. They pack their schedule and don't manage it well.

Im writing this review to warn people, please avoid this place at all costs. They take advantage of pet owners who are in desperate situations and I regret coming here not just for how much money they took from me, but mainly for how they handled my cat. I took my cat here a few months ago for GI-related issues/lethargy and it was an awful experience: I paid almost $7,000 for lab work, one overnight stay, tests, etc. just for them to give me ZERO diagnosis/answers for my cat.
