I was 18 years old this place took my first adult year away from me, I will never forgive this place for the things they did to me and also they lost my clothes my parents gave me so the whole week I was there I didn’t have clothes. They didn’t find my clothes until 2 weeks later that I was gone. I do not recommend and I would hope anyone would never leave their child there. I'm rating this place one star and if I had the choice to rate it no stars I would. My daughter was at this facility for about 3 weeks and never once did the doctor ever call me even after I wrote a note several times about the concerns I was having with her medication or even just for some information. I would go and see my daughter atleast 2-3 times a week and would bring her hygienic, cosmetics, pajamas and clothing stuff the facility approved for me to bring to my daughter just to later find out that they were not giving... read more
The things they do at this place and the treatment of patients and their families have to be reported to the agencies with oversight. Our loved one was placed here because no other beds were available. The "psychiatrist" did not even evaluate our loved one during their stay, but somehow diagnosed them with paranoid schizophrenia, which is about the furthest applicable diagnosis for their symptoms (they have been properly evaluated by psychiatrists before). My mother was admitted via ambulance from an assisted living facility to Redlands Community hospital on Wednesday (10/02) for SI. Shortly after that she was transferred to Pacific Grove Hospital. She was due to be released from the 5150 hold on Saturday, but as it was the weekend she was told she would have to wait until Monday morning. I don’t receive a call from her on Monday morning and around noon I call up Pacific Grove where I am told that they have *never* had a patient by that name in their facility.
