Literally had no issue at all. Customer service was wonderful, someone is always there to help, had no problems with installation, never had any leaks in the roof. We looked at 5 or 6 different solar companies and palmetto is the one we went with. Extremely happy with everything in the entire process
My salesman was wonderful and the installation team did a fine job. I am still attempting to understand the potential of the system performance over a longer period of time. Clearly it is much more efficient in the warmer months of the year. Given the huge amount of promotion in solar and offers of free panels I can believe I paid a pretty big number for the system - it was near impossible to get a number of estimates. The Mass SMART program is good, but very complicated.
palmetto installed solar panels on my house in december of 2019. they have worked great, and have produced as estimated. their phone app was recently updated and is very useful, and the follow up customer service was excellent, ESPECIALLY helping me out with the tax rebate logistics. thanks guys, -rick
From when they arrived to finish everything was professional. I now only pay the connection fee to the electric company. I recommend them.

The PV solar panels on my roof are just fine! They do what they're supposed to, and I feel good about my contributions to reducing coal-generated electricity. The Palmetto app lets me keep track of how much energy the panels I'm generating, and help me schedule (if I need) maintainence.
This companys product, install and support has been great. And most importantly we are going to be saving money long-term, and took advantage of the tax credits immediately! Go solar!
Our Palmetto consultation was very informative and the rep Tony explained ALL of the pros and cons of going solar with my wife and I, and we wouldn't have known a lot of info without him because the first two solar companies we met with just tried to get us to buy in 15-20 minutes! Tony was very thorough with us in explaining the tax credits and batteries and was honest about what would be the best situation for us (skipped the batteries for now). and the office maintained contact with us throughout each stage of the process... read more
This review is nothing to do with Palmetto, the 1st representative/ salesman we had was not completely honest with us and steered us in the wrong direction! Since the beginning of 2025, net metering in IL is done slightly different. This information was not provided to us. We were advised against a backup battery. Claiming it was not worth the money and simply not needed This was far from the truth! It is so needed and does not cost that much more! This out of state company is not to be trusted!
