Jennifer only returned one out of my three calls and never answered either of my emails. In that call, she told me "I had a missed call from this number, what do you need? " she hadn't even listened to my message and had no clue what I was inquiring about. Jennifer was hurried and acted very annoyed at any questions I had during the entirety of that conversation. I wish I had asked for my loan application to be reassigned to someone else.
I’ve refinanced two loans through PennyMac within two days of each other and the first loan was smooth and efficient and the people I worked with were great. The second loan not so much. The closing was delayed due to forms not being sent from the loan officer and twice was told a notary was scheduled to sign documents and was never scheduled. I had to call the notary myself to setup the meeting.

Communication. I have done mortgages professionally for over 40 years & this was the worst I ever experienced. PennyMac Staff does not answer phone calls - does not return phone calls & does not answer e-mails. At the very end of this arduous process - finally interfaced with ONE good PennyMac staffer who knew what he was doing. Other than him: the rest of PennyMac team was terrible. Entire PennyMac Refi System needs to be trashed & re-built from the ground up. You can't fix a system this bad.
Return phone calls and answer emails within 24 hours. Too many people working on loan, different people asking for the same info. File notes not updated or accurate.
Awesome job . Yesenia went out of her way to help me get everything done in time for my closing . also very polite . it's very much appreciated when an individual takes pride in their customer service . Mr. Lewis
The closing document presented by the notary was not the same document that I e-signed. The document that I e-signed didn’t include the homeowners insurance into the projected monthly payment. Which led me to believe that the monthly payment was going to be over $90 less than what it actually was.
