A lot was assumed as far as tech ability and the loan process. I felt that communication could have been more clear and specific. We were told we would be contacted and in fact, we had to call and ask questions. The website was difficult to log in and getting the list of documents could have been much easier.

There seemed to be times when something was needed that should have been caught earlier. I also feel that my original interest rate was rather high.

The beginning of the process was outstanding, Abigail Wilson was outstanding in her customer service and expectations from us! However, Justen Hunt was unavailable several times when myself and our realtor were trying to reach him. After many attempts to contact Justen Hunt and his supervisor, Ray Maroke, we were only able to close when our closing company contacted PennyMac directly. This loan was as easy as it gets and someone dropped the ball late in the process!

The very start with David everything was great. Once he referred the files over to the loan processor everything went crazy. Communication with Mr. Gonzalez were horrible. No communication. I had to go into the closing location and there was no one there to assist. Had to also reschedule the closing three times. The overall experience was horrible. I don’t want to put any friends or family of to This type of stressful experience.

Time difference between CA and FL delays communication. If I have known the lender is in CA, I may choose another one. Loan Officer told me that he can't reply my emails from his office email per policy. It delayed communication and answers to my inquiries. The service provided became less personal and less connected. communication provided by Tech company via Title company and Title company was not helpful and unpleasant. Correction made but experience damage done.

Jonathan and team communicated very well throughout the entire process. Any new requests or updates were delivered timely, they were accurate and there were no issues with the loan process from start to finish. I would definitely recommend the PennyMac team.
