The very long time frame to get to closing and kept getting told different time frames was behind. Also the fact that someone had made a mistake on our paperwork that held up the process by who knows how long was frustrating that took so long for someone to find the mistake and why was held up. Brianna was amazing to work with. She was very informative and extremely helpful and patient with pur questions and had great follow through with what she told us would do. She is amazing.

I believed that refi with my current loan company would cut out alot of the documents since you (the company) already had the infomation being ask for with some expection. Other then that everything move as it was explain to me it would.
Pmac has a good system for electronically signing documents - however I was a bit confused about the sequencing and which documents were signed and not signed. That said, the process overall was satisfactory and timely.
I had a great experience refinancing my loans with PennyMac. The process was clear and the communication was excellent. I appreciated the protected communication portal. I highly recommend using PennyMac for your mortgage needs!
Even though the we were asked several times to send the same paperwork, Larry communicated very well with us.
Except for Ashley, my entire experience with Pennymac was terrible. Ashley always returned my phone calls. It took them so many months to close one loan. They kept asking for documents multiple times. I think I started the application in July and we close it only in November. I don't think they have any supervisors or managers. Supervisor's and managers failed to return the calls. They are so disorganized. Sorry to say but I will not do business with them unless they improve a lot.
I always got prompt replies to my emails and calls, customer service was excellent in that aspect; however, I did not always get definitive answers, or explanations to my questions to help me fully understand the process and calculation of the dollar figures on the loan documents. No one could ever explain anything beyond “the system generated these numbers”. I wanted to understand the math behind numbers. I requested the numbers to be run for multiple situations, but never received any info.
Even through connection issues my loan officer made sure all the information they were giving was understood and made my refinance process very easy.
