More communications confirming settle date and time. More information about when closing checks would be sent and finally more timely copies of document sent to customer. I still have not received documents. Closing agent was late for appointment.

The ball was dropped multiple times on our loan. First, my SSN was incorrectly input into the system and credit report could not be pulled. I was never notified until I received a call, After the appraisal, that my file was going to be closed because you were missing information that I was never told was missing. Finally after 7 months we closed. The notary lost our entire closing file/FDX package. Not notified. Again. After a week we were finally told the docs were closed. Unprofessional.

The refinance process took forever. At one point, I almost wanted to cancel it. There was a bit a miscommunication between Penny Mac representatives. However, it was cleared up in the end.

Since the moment we were contacted by an agente, we felt confident that we were in good hands. They answered all our questions and made the process really smooth. They do not waste your time requesting unnecessary documents. Kami was great. I appreciate keeping us informed of the process. I also appreciate how the agent that conducted the closing was so courteous and took sanitary precautions seriously.
