Clear expectations from the beginning of the loan process would have made it better. The loan took too long to close. I applied in April and the loan closed in September.

The refinancing loan process and it was great but the only issue was I clearly said I’m deaf person and preferred to do email instead of phone calls. It will call the interpreter my company and they connect with us to translate conversation between us. It took three weeks to finally set up a closing date while all of the documents are done. Only because I couldn’t answer the phone as quick as they expected me to. I have to contact the original number guy to tell my max team to email me.

Working with Jerold Jackson was phenomenal. He was able to lock in a competitive rate for us, was responsive, and was a terrific partner in our refinance process. Once we moved on from Jerold, however, I had consistent difficulty in reaching Ashley Tolliver who was assisting me thereafter. Prior to closing, I tried calling and emailing multiple times to go over the specifics of the cash to close and delivery thereunder. I was not able to reach Ashley before closing, which was unfortunate.
