started loan in late Feb , did not get done intill July because of Covid ,was spoused to get a 700.00 credit from PM when I sold my other house and payed off PM , I don't know if I ever got it , just frustrating because of Covid.
Initially, the doc requirements weren’t clear. It would have been nice to have gotten an Upfront explanation of what qualified as ‘proof of Employment gap’, for ex, rather than waiting for me to ask for more info AFTER the docs I loaded were ignored. Also would have preferred to know all doc requirements at once instead of receiving Email requests separately. The processor was responsive to Qs and informative throughout the process, but her communication was impersonal and wasn’t ‘consultative’
The application process and initial approval process was absolutely great. As we got closer to closing starting with the closing disclosure documents there were some snags and delays in responses and some last minute information requests that should have been on the front end of the overall process. In the end everything worked out and we closed on time but I was unsure up until the day of closing that it would happen due to lack of proactive communication.
Loan moved quickly didn't need to wait for expensive appraisal and unnecessary appraisal. Document signing on time. No surprises along the way.
I was kept up to date on where we were in the process.
I had a loan with PennyMac and turned right to them for refinancing instead of shopping around. From start to finish the process was seem less and I was kept informed as to what to expect and what was needed from me. Quite amazing given the pandemic. I am very pleased and satisfied with the service and product.
Process was easy and my loan officer was very informative
The communication and team we worked were excellent. It took a lot longer than expected but the fact that my "team" was working from home. If I have anything negative to say is that it has taken a lot longer to get our checks than expected. Closed a week ago and still dont have funds. Caused a problem with bills that were supposed to be paid out of closing funds that were due on first. Had to pay them and now get refunds. Lot of extra work.
