I refinanced on two occasions with Pennymac. During the first occasion back in 2016, it was horrible. Agents wouldn't call you back and never provided updates about loan. Also, the process went well past the expected closing because the the person handling the refinance wasn't engaged until a complaint was against them. However, this 2020 experience was like the difference between night and day. From start to finish, the loan processors were fully engaged and returned calls.

My loan officer Yesenia was amazing! I loved working with her. She made everything so easy. She was pleasant and knowledgeable and just wonderful to work with. She called me back the same day. Answered all my questions and made feel confident about my loan and process. The entire team was wonderful to work with. I'm on the east coast and they were on the west coast, i thought it was would a challenge with the time zones but it wasn't. EVERYONE was so great. Thank you PennyMAC!

My experience was absolutely terrible, once I gave my consent to submit the application, the chasing game started. none of my emails were answered, no messages were returned. The day before my scheduled closing, I was calling Jennifer multiple times trying to get details of the notary. I couldn't believe how difficult it was to get anyone to respond to me. I will not only never recommend PennyMac to anyone but I am also waiting 6 months and getting my Loan refinanced elsewhere.

Corey and Letisia Gonzales were very helpful throughout the process. Whenever I put a call in to either one they would get back to me in a timely manner. Both Corey and Letisia were very knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with.

Working with PennyMac Loan Services was excellent. From submitting our application through Bruce, to the loan process and working with Nancy. They answered all of our questions and helped us through the our loan by keeping us updated weekly. From our application to our closing everything went smoothly and it took 7weeks.

This process took months. We were asked the same question week after week and Ammie Mac did not give us a straight answer. The communication was not good. We kept trying and sending what she requested and then they would come back a week later with the same question. It was very frustrating. It was a waste of time.
