Erika was great. She was helpful, but the overall process was complex and I never knew where I was in the process. A process roadmap with a you are here icon would be helpful.
Our loan officer was very helpful. He did most of the work and we just signed a bunch of papers. Works for me. :)

Very good communication. Updates received both by e-mail and by phone were very helpful. Issues that arose were resolved timely. Process for the most part went smoothly.
Took longer than I thought, ask for repeated documents that I had no access to.
The process was very easy in my opinion. The only negative to me was the appraisal and that was not PennyMacs fault. The appraiser was horrible. It took a little longer than expected due to Covid but overall a good experience with people that care and are knowledgeable. I have already recommended PennyMac to 2 coworkers looking to refinance.

The web portal was not as easy to use as other lenders’. Loan documents contained errors throughout the process, including the final documents at closing.
