As a title examiner and real estate professional, I have found this process with PennyMac to be seamless! I work with lots of banks, mortgage companies, attorneys, and brokers, and I found PennyMac to be very professional. I decided to refinance with them because they serviced our previous loan. Every step on the website to set up auto-pay was easy, and customer service was respectful and prompt.
Working with Zachary Teahan was great, it was getting to a loan officer that was the nightmare. I have been using PennyMac for six years now and I not once, not twice, but three times been placed on hold for ridiculous amount of times. Twice you all called me and then placed me on hold. One time I experimented and just stayed on the line to see how long. After an hour and almost 20 minutes I had to hang up. No one checked on me nothing any of those three times. The fourth time it finally worked.
It took a lot longer than last time and closing had to be done a 2nd time because "something" was missing.
Everybody and everyone answer all my questions in a very professional manner and to the point.
