I felt as though a lot of communications were poor...we were scheduled to settle and the agent didn't come so I called her directly and she said the signing was canceled. PennyMac never gave us the courtesy of a call which was extremely disappointing. My employer was called several times to verify employment even after she had written a complete history of my employment, two more calls were made to her. She was shocked at how unprofessional this was.
Happy that I was given accurate facts and figures through phone contact, limited need for additional paperwork, and closing/funding went as told on time.
The only saving grace for PennyMac was m.a.c. team member Nick. Nick contacted me several times (15+) throughout the process, he alone provided solutions to holdups in the loan process and communicated very frequently with me. Nick worked late multiple nights coordinating all the parts to ensure my closing happened before the deadline of the end of month. First of all I have been with Penny Mac for my previous mortgage and I did not have any problems. Payment is easy where I did it online or over the phone. This time, buying a new home was made easier by Penny Mac. Sandra Benavides assisted me all the way. I did not have to even follow up because she calls and emails and gives me updates. I felt really comfortable asking questions.
Everything was great from day one taking with my loan officer to the end of my load. Thank you everyone that make it happen I’m so happy 🤗. Thank you PennyMac for my loan 💯 satisfied

The team was awesome. Sometimes the automated processed were confusing -- for example, asking for documents I had already sent -- but I blame your "AI robots," not the people, for that.
