The people
I enjoyed working with the PennyMac M.A.C. Team on my loan refinancing. Andree Pinson and Norma Brambila stood out as being wonderful to work with. They made the entire process practically stress-free and kept everything moving along throughout. I would definitely recommend PennyMac to my family and friends.
Everything was timely, however the last couple of weeks were a little shaky. Could be because of the pandemic but I was a little surprised that a few things did not happen.
It was a great experience. Even amid all the COVID-19 uncertainty my loan closed on time, and I paid less in closing costs than originally quoted!
Anna and team were very professional throughout the process. They took the time to explain why things were needed and discussed the best options for me to provide in a timely manner.
Everything went very well but we did have a problem at closing. Our loan was to have no closing costs yet there were some. We paid them and do expect a refund from Penny Mac. The reason we did pay them was to not hold up closing the new mortgage as Penny Mac was buried with new loan requests due to the new lower interest rates and we were nit sure how long it would take to correct the closing costs on he loan document.
