Rashawna requested documents multiple times that were already submitted, she would call me multiple times asking about documents that were already submitted. I would inform her they were already submitted days before, then she would check and confirm they were submitted. Very unorganized.
Tyra, Paul and Sevak have been a great pleasure to work with. Very informative, detailed and understanding. The process had minor miscommunication between departments on the necessary documents. Personally I like to work with 1 person and sometimes you get multiple people where repeating information happened often. But all named above always responded rather quickly.
Communication regarding the payoff of my credit card balances was not clear. The way it was communicated to me made it seem that I was to pay the balances myself outside of the Closing Process. I repeated my understanding of the process back to multiple PennyMac representatives several times. However, it was not brought to my attention that it would be part of the Closing Process until AFTER I wired my cash to close amount to the title company and I had paid the credit card balances myself.
There was a mistake on nearly every step of the process. Tyra and Jessica were horrible at communicating and were not aware of the status of my loan any time I asked. Took the joy out of buying my first home.
The only communication I had was through the website. Every time I called I got a different person and a different answer to the same question.
