The entire process went well except they requested me to send in the same documents after i sent them in multiple times. Otherwise all went well.

I requested emails multiple times, as I work remotely and am not able to easily accept phone calls during the day and had to interrupt business calls multiple times to respond to questions. I can more easily respond to Email communications which were never received. Also, I scheduled my closing using the tools provided, but the times/location were not followed, as well as my phone number was not used, they called my wife's phone. Nathan spoke to me once. I am unclear what his job is and why he works for you. Several other people were helpful in his place. He should probably take an office job in the North Pole where he will not need any customer service skills.

It seems that with the current market that there was not a real sense of urgency to get the loan closed. With it being a refi I was surprised and not particularly pleased that PENNYMAC chose to use a new title company. These fees seemed a little high also. If I ever need another mortgage loan I will most definitely shop more.

It took a bit longer than expected but Deon kept me updated on the progress. Overall, it was a smooth experience.
