Maria was not at all supportive of our process, didn't follow-up timely, didn't check the closing documents sufficiently, and failed to understand our frustrations about being asked for repeated documents or incorrect information. Literally everyone else we spoke to at PennyMac (including people not involved with our loan) were more helpful than Maria.
I was well informed every step of loan process. Closing happened in timeframe I was given. My questions were always answered promptly

GREAT experience
Loan supposed to close by Feb 28th didn’t close until April 2nd. Documents submitted more than once to multiple people. 1st closing was canceled without notifying us. We were not informed that payoffs would be checks cut to the accounts but sent to us. Payoff checks wrong amount, even after we made specific inquiries about that subject and was told they would be correct. Overall a really bad experience .
The PennyMac portal and updates made the process so easy. We always knew what to expect. Nathaniel was quick to respond to any questions or concerns that I had.
Overall flawless and great expiernece. We use PennyMac from the get go and they made refinancing super easy and pain free
Noah helped us with every questions and was pretty responsive
