I already sent an email in regards to the loan process and how dissatisfied I was with the "Underwriting" process. The lack of communication and often times being different than what someone else told us was disappointing as well. It was as though the left hand didn't know what the right hand was doing the entire process. Not too mention the difficulties of proving income/etc. For someone that is "self-employed." I was impressed with the professionalism of the PennyMac team. Their website was pretty intuitive and easy to use. The team communicated the status of my loan application frequently and helped everything stay on track for a timely closing.
My only complaint would be the lack of verbal instructions. Duplicate email instructions and multiple mailed instructions were also troubling. The only telephonic contact was with the original lending agent. However, the overall experience with the speed and convenience with PennyMac since we were already customers was very helpful. Good communication and keeping me up to date
Wow. Both Sandrea, my loan processor, and John, myloan officer were amazing people to work with. They were always very nice and patient in all the process. I refinanced 5 houses at once so you could imagine the amount of work and endless communication needed between my loan processor and officer with me. Sandrea and John were amazing. The team of people that helped me get to closing were friendly and helpful. There was a small issue that arose with my loan but they corrected it in a timely manner and I was able to close on time. They communicated with me often and were very responsive. The process went very smoothly!
