Get directionsJacob my agent took the time to explain to me my options for eliminating PMI property mortgage insurance. And of course he met the timelines as discussed and continually try to reach me even though I was often busy. Overall, It was an excellent experience and he showed professionalism, and attentiveness. I’d highly recommend to others
PenneyMac was awesome to work with. 1.99% interest rate for 15 years. Called every week to let you know how things were going. I would recommend using PennyMac to anyone looking to buy or refinance their home.
Thanks for all of your assistance!
There were communication issues with the loan processor. The Loan officer Broc Walker went above and beyond and got me the information I needed and set me up with the right people to close the loan sooner then expected and accurately. Thank you.
I believe we began process late July; funded late October. Re communication: I did not receive honest, appropriate, accurate, timely information and updates. No reply or acknowledgment to my daily email (resent at least 15 times) asking about percentage rate—I believe these non replies cost me a higher rate. PM reps withheld information re VA hold up during progress. First PM contact gave me incorrect information and either quit or was fired.
The experience was perfect up to the week of closing. Every time I called I got forwarded to voicemail of the MAC member who was clearly out of the office. It was extremely frustrating being unable to speak to a person. When I asked to speak to someone, I got the reply of "no" via email from someone else. The closing date was wrong, no one from the title company ever contacted me, and I had to call non-stop to the title company and email the mac team to reschedule. 90% great 10% terrible.
Great Service! Would always get a callback immediately answering all of my questions!
The Loan Amount was not correct on the original disclosure document. It took numerous requests to get this simple error corrected. We were told we would get $300 back at closing, then we were told we would owe nothing at closing and finally when the Notary came to our house for closing we were told "for the first time" that we needed to write a check for $103. You need to more clearly communicate the closing costs to the consumer so they can make an informed decision about refinancing.
